Thank you for your continued support and loyalty to Skymark Airlines.
We have made an agreement with ENEOS Corporation regarding the purchase of Sustainable Aviation Fuel in Japan.
From February 4, 2025, to the end of March 2025, a certain amount of Sustainable Aviation Fuel derived from used cooking oil will be blended into aviation fuel and supplied for flights departing from Haneda to Naha.
We are committed to achieving net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050. As part of this commitment, we have set a goal to replace 10% of the aviation fuel we use with Sustainable Aviation Fuel by 2030. This marks our first step in procuring Sustainable Aviation Fuel, which represents a significant milestone toward achieving this goal.
We will continue to promote initiatives such as introducing aircraft with lower greenhouse gas emissions and increasing the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel. Through our mission to "provide safe, reliable, and high-quality air services to all people at affordable prices," we aim to contribute to the sustainable development of society and make air travel accessible to everyone.
About Us
Skymark Airlines began operations on September 19, 1998, with its inaugural Haneda=Fukuoka route. The airline was established following deregulation in Japan’s aviation industry. Skymark operates a fleet of 29 Boeing 737-800 and serves 12 domestic airports.
With safety as our top priority, we strive to deliver high operational quality and simple, heartfelt service at accessible fares through our unique business model. As a result, Skymark Airlines has been ranked No.1 in Customer Satisfaction in the “Domestic Long-Haul Transportation Sector” in the JCSI(Japan Customer Satisfaction Index) survey conducted by the SPRING(Service Productivity & Innovation for Growth) of the Japan Productivity Center. We have achieved this distinction four times: in fiscal years 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
