Summary
- ●With the opening of the second runway at Fukuoka Airport, we are utilizing the increased flight slots to operate the Fukuoka=Miyako(Shimojishima) route. This route will operate one round trip per day from June 20 to September 30.
Additionally, from March 30 to June 19 and October 1 to October 25, we will increase the frequency of the Fukuoka=Ibaraki route to two round trips per day, leveraging both the additional slots at Fukuoka Airport and the relaxed landing restrictions at Ibaraki Airport. - ●With the expansion of flight slots at Kobe Airport this spring, we will increase the frequency of the Kobe=Kagoshima route to three round trips per day.
- ●Effective for cancellations made on or after April 1, 2025, the cancellation fees for the following fare types will be revised:
Imatoku: ¥5,000 → ¥6,000
Tasudoku: ¥2,500 → ¥4,000 - ●In light of the continued depreciation of the yen and the significant rise in fuel costs, the business environment surrounding us has become increasingly challenging. While we have made company-wide efforts to reduce costs in order to remain an airline of choice for our customers, the prolonged impact of these factors has led us to make the decision to revise our fares. We will continue to prioritize safety above all else, while investing in our workforce and fleet to achieve sustainable, long-term growth.

Skymark Airlines began operations on September 19, 1998, with its inaugural Haneda=Fukuoka route. The airline was established following deregulation in Japan’s aviation industry. Skymark operates a fleet of 29 Boeing 737-800 and serves 12 domestic airports.

As a result, Skymark Airlines has been ranked No.1 in Customer Satisfaction in the “Domestic Long-Haul Transportation Sector” in the JCSI(Japan Customer Satisfaction Index) survey conducted by the SPRING(Service Productivity & Innovation for Growth) of the Japan Productivity Center. We have achieved this distinction four times: in fiscal years 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
